An Illustration Revisited

Tonight I decided to play around with an old illustration that I used last year in my FMP (final major project). I've always been fond of the drawing so I wanted to experiment a lil bit more.

An Illustration For Amsterdam

This illustration is my contribution to a book that we will be presenting as a gift to a design firm in Amsterdam. We are taking a four day trip to the city as part of a learning experience which I can't wait for. The book is a collection of designs by all the students studying on my course and is all about their new experiences. My new experience was simply listening to an album by Paul Simon I have never heard before and the illustration reflects my reaction to the music. I would've liked to have pushed myself more outside my comfort on this project but because its my first accessed piece I ended up playing safe again. Hopefully studying on this course will introduce me to some areas of design that we didn't focus much on at college.
